ATHENS------Legendary University of Georgia football coach Vince Dooley
has been captured in a limited edition print entitled "Dooley Days - 40 Years at UGA",
which is officially endorsed by the UGA Athletic Association. Artist Ken Modak produced
the work, which visually details some of Coach Dooley's most memorable and treasured
moments at UGA.
"Dooley Days - 40 Years at UGA" printing is limited to 3,000 Regular Edition and 300
Artist's Proofs signed by Coach Dooley. Orders may be placed by visiting: http://www.kmodak.com
or call Modak Illustrations at 770-887-9930 or 1-800-645-8165. All prints are hand signed by the
artist, Ken Modak, and come with a Certificate of Authenticity and Identification Key. A portion
of the proceeds from the print goes directly to the UGA Athletic Association.
Modak's work is unique. Using a process that involves working primarily with airbrush and color
pencil technique, the artist feels his way, capturing likeness, as well as personality. This
exceptional style actually sharpens detail and brings figures to life on paper. No stranger to
UGA football fans, Modak's better-known works include "2002 Bulldogs - SEC Champions", "The Run" -
featuring Herschel Walker's first collegiate touchdown, and "The Catch" - displaying Verron Haynes'
2001 winning catch against Tennessee.
