Ken Modak is honored and thankful for the opportunity to create artwork of legendary coach,
athletic director, and distinguished gentleman, Vince Dooley. Ken is working with the University of
Georgia Athletic Association, paying tribute to Coach Dooley, on this artwork to be used for the
limited edition print entitled "Dooley Days - 40 Years at UGA." This inspired creation will give
Georgia fans an opportunity to always be in touch with the man who is Georgia football.
Surveying the painting for the first time brought a broad smile to Dooley’s
face. He turned and asked Modak, "How did you do that?" Admiring the artwork
that brought back so many pleasant memories Coach Dooley said, "Here’s Coach
Eaves, and there is Billy (brother Bill Dooley). And there he is," nodding
affectionately at the shot of Herschel (Walker). "Yes, it’s good," he
remarked.
To honor Coach Vince Dooley, artist, Ken Modak, presents a framed "Dooley Days - 40 Years at UGA" print, which
will be displayed in the Hall of Fame’s Decade of the 1980’s exhibit. Coach Dooley was inducted to
